You may remember Esperanza...one of the two pitbulls found left for dead near Millican a few months ago.

Veterinarians believe they were used as bait animals in dog fighting.

But Sunday, Esperanza was in the spotlight.

She was showing her holiday spirit this weekend by taking part in the 85th annual Bryan/College Station Christmas Parade.

Both animals have had dozens of surgeries and are recovering well.
