Gem of the Day 12/22: Santa's Surprise

A local family is sending well-wishes to their nephew for his service to the country.Marine Sergeant David Fisher recently re-enlisted for another two years in the Corps.When it's all said and done, he'll have served at least ten years.

Sgt. Fisher is currently on his second tour of duty in Afghanistan, which is where he re-enlisted.The husband and father of two won't be home from the holidays, but this coming March, that second Afghan tour will end.

He's from Abernathy, north of Lubbock, but the Casey family here in B-C-S wants to congratulate their nephew.
