Washington County's Chamber of Commerce has a dedicated group of volunteers that is in the midst of a milestone year.

The Blue Blazers are celebrating their 40th anniversary as the supporters of the chamber's efforts.

The club has 15 members that serve as the greeters during regular events and help to recruit new members for the Chamber.

They also attend community ribbon cuttings and grand openings for businesses.

Later this month, the Blue Blazers will hold their annual banquet to recognize all the members over the years.
