A local Marine is home and is set to be honored.

Zachary Baker has been in Afghanistan, but returned home to Huntsville Saturday. Tuesday night at 6, the Huntsville city council will present him with a proclamation.

Baker is a Huntsville High School graduate who spent a year at Texas A&M studying mechanical engineering before volunteering for the Marines.

His family has told the city he plans on going back to school.

Again, that presentation to Baker is Tuesday at 6 at Huntsville's city hall.
