Brenda Ponzio works for Elms Orthodontist. She's worked for Dr. Troy Elms for 20 years, but before that she also worked for Dr. Tom King for 20 years. In a day and age when people seem to job hop, Brenda's been a faithful employee who looks forward to going to work everyday.
Brenda Ponzio says, "I love the people, my work and all the kids that come in and the families and the people I work with and just working for two different Christian doctors."
While the doctors may have changed, Brenda Ponzio has remained. She's worked at the same orthodontist office for 40 years and has enjoyed every minute of of every year and the people she works with have loved having her around. Naturally, when Ponzio hit her 40 year milestone, of course all of her co-workers made time to plan a party.
"There's a lot a work, but we have time for fun too," says Ponzio.
Even though technology's changed throughout the years, the one thing that's remained constant is Brenda's love for her patients.
"I try to always be happy and cheerful and it's a real sincere thing because I really enjoy the people," says Ponzio.
And that's not all she does.
Ponzio says, "I try to acknowledge every person that walks through the door."
That means she gets to truly know her clients and in a business that makes smiles happen, it's good to know that the person who's been greeting generations of customers, practices customer service with a smile.
"I just love the people I work with and the people that walk in the door everyday, I just love seeing their smiling faces," says Ponzio.
