In June we told you about a Bryan family raising money for a diabetic alert dog for their 8-year-old daughter, Libby, who has Type 1 Diabetes.
The community has jumped in to help raise the $28,000 needed and this past weekend, Libby and the family got to meet two potential Diabetic Alert Dogs.
The special dogs are trained to detect when insulin level drops, offering time for Libby to get immediate medial help.
The puppies will be in training for one year until doctors know which dog will be a perfect fit for Libby.
