Ninety-three-year-old Perry Williams is an active member in the Conroe-Willis Alcoholics Anonymous group and is celebrating 50 years of sobriety.
His first meeting was in 1952 and after a short relapse in 1963, he is now celebrating 50 years sober.
Williams comes from a large family and wasn't the only family member with a drinking problem. His brother will be celebrating 48 years of sobriety next month.
Williams takes one day at a time and is proud of his decision to stay sober.
