The Texas A&M University Police Department (UPD) is honored to announce that Senior Police Officer Donny Ohana has been awarded “Officer of the Year.”
This award is given annually to an officer who embodies a high moral character and demonstrates exemplary performance in all areas of police work. Officer Ohana is a hard worker who executes his duties in a consistent and professional manner regardless of the task. He was selected for this honor by his peers for his unselfish dedication and his devotion to the UPD and the Texas A&M University community.
Officer Ohana started his career with the UPD in 2008. He is 2007 graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Computer
Science and Digital Forensics at Sam Houston State University. Officer Ohana and his wife, Whitney ’07 have been married for 3 years and have one daughter, Anaiah.
