Local High School Athlete on National Champion Team

Rudder high school's Tamaira Armstrong is a member of the Lone Star High Performance A1 Youth Volleyball Team.

The USAV National High Performance Championships took place from July 22nd through 26th in Tulsa, Oklahoma; and her team brought home the title. Armstrong was selected for the team after tryouts around the Lone Star Region, the largest region in Texas, this past spring. Tamaira will be a sophomore for the Rangers this school year and played on Brazos Valley 15 National.
