Last Friday, the National Junior Olympic Shooting Championships wrapped up in Colorado Springs and a Caldwell native stood atop the podium. Earning his second straight title, Phillip Jungman out shot Granger DeWitt of Bryan in the finals. Jungman shot a finals best 24 to claim the win.
And another local competitor won big at the Championships.
T.J. Bayer of College Station picked up a couple of titles of his own.
Bayer won the Trap championship as well as the Men's Double Trap Championship.
