Last month, we told you about a wreck on Highway 47 in Bryan, where a dump truck pulled in front of another car. The driver in that car was a 20-year-old female who ended up trapped in the vehicle. Texas A&M employee Felix Chester came to the rescue and pulled her out.
Felix was honored Tuesday for his bravery. He was given suite tickets to a Texas A&M football game and a staycation in Bryan-College Station, which includes a hotel stay, limo ride and dinner at Christopher's.
Felix will also be given a flag that was flown in his honor over Washington D.C. College Station Mayor Nancy Berry declared Tuesday as Felix Chester Day.
