The 12 days of Christmas are officially over and it's time to tear down the world's largest Gingerbread House at Traditions Golf Club in Bryan.
The edible house was not just candy covered, but built with a solid foundation, wooden framing, and trusses.
High quality materials were used to build the Gingerbread House, and Traditions is donating the deconstructed materials to Habitat for Humanity.
These donations will be very valuable to Habitat for Humanity as they hope to use much of the lumber to build Habitat homes.
Other materials will be sold at the Habitat ReStore in Bryan, with all profits going toward helping build more houses for local families.
