Students Win National K-12 Science Competition

Three Intermediate school students from The Woodlands were honored in the largest Kindergarten through 12th grade science and technology competition in the world.

Sarah Kong, Genna Childers and Alice Zhang from Mitchell Intermediate school won second place in Toshiba's ExploraVision program.

The students were chosen from more than 5,000 teams, a total of almost 16,000 students from the U.S. and Canada.

After placing second in the competition, the team will go to Washington D.C. to compete the first week of June.
