Students with the Park & Tourism Department at Texas A&M University are hosting the first Aggieland Culinary Expo. The event will feature local, non-franchised, entrepreneurial restaurants and eateries.
From the students organizing the event:
"In collaboration with the A&M Recreation, Park & Tourism Science Department (RPTS), and as a part of the department's curriculum, we would like to invite the entire A&M Community out to the first Aggieland Culinary Expo! This expo will be an event that will feature many local, non-franchised, entrepreneurial restaurants and eateries. Many of the businesses that will be attending will have samples, coupons, and other great giveaways! This will serve as a great way to learn what other culinary options our diverse community has to offer other than the corporate, nationwide chains that get so old, so quick! Plus, who doesn't love free food! Also, this would be a great place to shop for that part-time job that you need! While this will be right after Ring Day, take this opportunity to come out with your family and sample all the different foods that we will be hosting, and pick a local eatery to go and celebrate your new bling! So come out to the MSC Plaza (In between the MSC and Rudder on Friday, November 9 from 5pm-8pm and support our local restaurants, eat some great food, and just have fun!
If you would like more information, or if you would like to inquire about attending as a business, please contact Ryan Wilks at email@example.com"
