Fallen Constable to be Honored at National Memorial Event

Monday night is the 25th Annual National Fallen Officer Candlelight Vigil in Washington D.C.

At the event, the newly-engraved names on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial will be read, including Brazos County Precinct One Constable Brian Bachmman, who was killed last August.

Local law enforcement officers are in D.C. for the event, including Brazos County Sheriff Chris Kirk, the sheriff's office honor guard and Brazos County Precinct One Constable Jeff Reeves.

Sheriff Kirk spoke to us by phone Monday afternoon about why they chose to be there to honor a fallen brother.
