Officer Kristi Hosea with the Texas A&M University Police Department was on First News at Four Monday.
She talked about self-defense classes that are offered for women in the Brazos Valley. The SHARP (Sexual Harrassment and Rape Prevention) classes are offered through the University Police Department and the Brazos County Sheriff's Office.
Six hours of training is divided into two classes that teach techniques for a variety of situations.
