L.O.D.D is an acronym we are, sadly, hearing too much in our community. It stands for line of duty death.
Just six months ago we lost a constable and in one day this weekend -- two firefighters.
The good news is our neighbors are always ready to help and this time is no exception. Some local residents have created a facebook page called Hugs for our Heroes. The goal is for strangers to come together and bless area firefighters.
