Even though football season is coming to a close, one local football player's season isn't over yet.

College Station Middle School 7th grader Marquez Perez has been selected to play in the Eastbay All-American Bowl at the Alamodome in San Antonio on January 6th.

This bowl game is a youth version of the Army All-American bowl played the day before at the Alamodome.

Perez plays running back and was a starter on the 7th grade football A-team.

Just last year the local athelte participated in the Pop Warner Super Bowl at the Disney ESPN Sports Complex in Florida.
