TEEX Fire Schools in Full Swing; Public Demonstration Next Week

The 50th Industrial Fire School is wrapping up Friday at the Brayton Fire Training Field.

The week-long event put on by the Texas Engineering Extension Service is meant for those who protect oil, gas and chemical facilities in this country and around the world.

TEEX has the largest fire training field in the world, and they'll show it off to public soon.

Next week is the 83rd annaul Municipal Fire School, and on Wednesday, you've got a chance to witness the training first-hand. Gates at Brayton near Easterwood Airport open at 6:30 p.m. with a children's fire awareness class starting at 7:00. Demonstrations get going at 8:00.
