A teenage boy is in critical condition after suffering a heat stroke in the Sam Houston National Forest.
The 15-year-old boy was walking with a group in the woods yesterday when he became overheated.
Officials say the teen's friends went for help and by the time EMS arrived, he was unconscious.
LifeFlight was called as firefighters rushed to the boy's aide.
The teenager was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
