The Texas Drowning Prevention Alliance is urging everyone to be extra cautious around water this summer, especially in light of
recent drownings across the state.

Two men died in a Carrollton pond Saturday just hours after a 17-year-old drowned in another part of the city. And Monday, a 5-year-old girl drowned at an Austin hotel pool.

College Station Aquatic Supervisor Vera Solis was on First News at Four Tuesday to talk about water safety and signs to look for when people are drowning.
