Caldwell Drops Area Round Playoff Game
The Caldwell Hornets lost to West Orange-Stark 37 - 7 Friday night in the area round of the Class 3A playoffs at Woodforest Bank Stadium in The Woodlands.

The Woodlands -- The Caldwell Hornets lost to West Orange-Stark 37 - 7 Friday night in the area round of the Class 3A playoffs at Woodforest Bank Stadium in The Woodlands.
Caldwell got on the board first when Trenton Sims scored on a 9 yard touchdown run. The Hornets had a 7 - 0 lead after the first quarter.
West Orange-Stark scored 21 second quarter points to take a 21 - 7 halftime lead.
The Mustangs extended their lead in the third quarter on a Quintavious Garrett 38 yard touchdown run. West Orange-Stark added a touchdown and a field goal in the fourth quarter.
Caldwell ends their season 6 - 4

w.o.s. had to make mistakes and caldwell had to play a perfect game for the outcome to be a "W".the hornets did great and i hope they played the game like it was there last one EVER!!leave it all on the field.if you take some off of it,you didn't try your hardest.
