Phone Book Recycling Begins
What do I do with my old phone book now? Don’t throw it in the trash. Recycle it! Old telephone books can be used to make environmentally friendly insulation for houses, mulch for gardens, egg cartons, and a variety of assorted paper products, such as utility bill envelopes, cereal boxes, and grocery bags.

Navasota residents and business owners can now begin recycling their outdated phone books by dropping them off at the Navasota Recycle Station, located at 515 Fifth Street.
The phone books will be accepted free of charge at the recycle station every Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
