Dr. Molly Jahn will speak at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum on Tuesday November 13, 2012 at 7pm about sustainable agriculture.
Jahn is a professor in the Laboratory of Genetics and Department of Agronomy at the University of Wisconsin in Madison who researches the genetics of plants, genomics, and plant breeding of vegetable crops. Her research groups have produced varieties of crops that are now grown for subsistence on six continents. Jahn has also been working to link crop breeding with improved human nutrition and welfare in developing countries.
