In a St. Joseph's Healthscene report, nicotine nasal spray probably won't help teen smokers kick the habit. According to the journal Pediatrics, teenagers who tried the spray soon stopped using it, complaining it burned and smelled bad. The spray is one of the most effective methods for adults to stop smoking, but young people appear to be more sensitive to its side effects.
