Heart Attack Treatment

In a St. Joseph Healthscene report, people who live in lower-income neighborhoods who suffer a heart attack are less likely to get timely treatment than people living in wealthier communities. The difference remained even after researchers adjusted for race, gender and distance from the hospital.
