In a St. Joseph Healthscene report, Congress has green-lighted a massive new study into children's health with the goal of learning new ways to treat and even prevent illness. The project will cost over 3-billion-dollars and track 100,000 U.S. children from birth to age 21. Researchers plain on examining some of the factors that influence diseases such as diabetes, cerebral palsy and autism. The first data from the study should be available in 2012.
