Obesity and Cancer Risks

In a St. Joseph Healthscene report, according to a new survey, only about half of women are aware that obesity increases the risk of several kinds of cancer, including of the colon and breast. Researchers say the women in the study were fairly well-educated, with most having a college or professional degree.
