AIDS Vaccine

In a St. Joseph Healthscene report, a global AIDS conference this week is re-focusing the work on a vaccine. After a string of disappointments, many experts are pushing for a return to basic laboratory research over large-scale human trials. Scientists were forced to drop plans for human testing with two possible vaccines this past year due to safety concerns.
