Nicotine and Breast Cancer

In a St. Joseph Healthscene report, nicotine may push breast cancer cells from the original tumor to other parts of the body. Besides serving as another warning against smoking, the finding could point to new targets for cancer drugs. However, researchers stress it's still too early to pinpoint the exact role nicotine may play in the spread of the disease.
