Newborns and Flu Shots

In a St. Joseph's Healthscene report, new mothers and their immediate family should get flu shots before leaving the hospital to protect the newborn. Duke University researchers say they found boosting immunization rates in parents, especially new fathers, and siblings is particularly effective.
