In a St. Joseph Healthscene, MP3 player headphones, even if they're disconnected, may interfere with pace-makers. Researchers say it's possible magnets inside the headphones could throw off the pace-makers' electrical current, but only if they're left sitting right on the chest. Experts advise headphones should be either on the ears or tucked away.
