In a St. Joseph Health Scene Report, new findings show higher-protein meals may help overweight and obese people battle the bulge. Scientists found that heavy people burned more fat when they ate a high-protein breakfast and lunch than when they ate lower-protein meals. A number of studies have suggested that high-protein diets may also help people shed weight more easily.
