Heart Attacks and Gender

In a St. Joseph Health Scene report, many women hospitalized with heart attacks are not getting the same treatments as men. A new study says that women are more likely to die from a massive heart attack because they are not receiving the same amounts of medications and procedures. One explanation is that heart disease is sometimes thought of as a man's disease, but it is the leading cause of death among women.
