Have you ever wanted to go to medical school?

The College of Medicine has a solution for you. The Texas A&M Health Science Center is hosting the 2009 Mini-Medical School.

College Station and Bryan residents that are interested in learning current, relevant medical information should attend and hear from some of the college's leading experts.

There are six sessions you can attend: January 22 & 29, February 5, 12, 19 & 26. All sessions start at 6 p.m. and last an hour and a half. The mini-medical school will be in the Joe H. Reynolds Medical Building at Texas A&M University West Campus.

Some of the topics that will be covered include interventional pain management, lung infections, arthritis, and viruses and cancer, among others.

The College of Medicine says the purpose of these lectures is to educate the community on current health and wellness topics and enhance students with medical terminology and new insights into medical research.

Parking will be available in front of the Reynolds Medical Building for $1. Refreshments will be provided.
