In a St. Joseph Health Scene Report, healthy seniors who have a drink or two a day may cut their chances of having physical disabilities. A new study found moderate drinking reduced the risk of developing problems with walking, daily chores and other physical tasks over five years. The findings add to other benefits linked to light drinking including a lower risk of heart disease.
