Brazos County Flu Numbers Down Since Start of 2014

Influenza Like Illness: 46
Type A Flu Reported: 129

BRAZOS COUNTY The number of flu cases in Brazos County is down since the start of 2014.

The Brazos County Health Department released new numbers Monday that show 129 reported cases of the flu in the county. That is down from the 135 cases reported on January 4th.

The highest number of reported flu cases in Brazos County was December 21, 2013. 351 people were reported to have the flu. Flu season usually peaks in February.

Health department officials also report that 46 people had an influenza like illnesses.
