Children Exposed to Air Pollution At Risk For Ear Infections

A new study shows babies and toddlers exposed to moderate air pollution may be at higher risk of developing middle ear infections.

Researchers found that children exposed to high levels of traffic pollutants were 10 percent more likely to go to the doctor for an ear infection than those living in cleaner
areas.

Other culprits include power plants and smoke from wood burning.
