Free Health Screenings at Community Health Fair in Bryan

The Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG) and Brazos Valley Workforce Solutions in partnership with Blinn College will be holding a Community Health Fair on Tuesday, March 19th, 2013 from 1:00PM - 5:00PM. The health fair will be held at 3991 E. 29th St, Bryan, TX 77802.

Nursing students from Blinn College will be answering medical questions as well as conducting checks for:
• High blood pressure
• Diabetes
• Vision and hearing
• Heights and weights
• Element Dental screening (*Only available from 1:00 - 3:00PM)

"It is the goal of BVCOG to collaborate with our local partners throughout the region and provide a central meeting space for essential public services," says Tom Wilkinson, Executive Director.

Representatives from the Division for Blind Services (DARS), City of College Station, Brazos Valley Center for Independent Living, Brazos Valley Council on Alcohol and Substance Abuse, and the Sexual Assault Resource Center will also be available for all participants.
