Free Health Clinic for the Uninsured

Some Brazos Valley residents are going the extra mile to help out those who don't have health insurance.

After opening six weeks ago, the Haji family tells News 3 that their free health clinic has been jam packed. Doctors volunteer their time while providing patients with free doctor visits, pharmaceuticals, specialist exams and counseling services to low income patients in the Brazos Valley.

"I was looking for to build the new practice in a church oriented environment because I wanted to be serving the Spanish immigrants and helping them out during their tough times during sickness," said Karim Haji.

The Free Clinic is located inside the Templo Del Espiritu Santo in Bryan. This is the second location to open up and the clinic is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 and 6 p.m. If you are a doctor and would like to volunteer your time, you can contact the number below.
