A new study finds new mothers who breastfeed their babies get just much sleep as mothers who bottle-feed with formula. Doctors have previously said newborns who are breastfed wake up more often.
But, researchers had 80 mothers keep sleep diaries and found no difference in sleep time or quality between mothers who breastfeed, formula feed or do a combination or both.
