In September of 1936, Franciscan Sisters from Sylvania, Ohio, purchased the only hospital in Bryan and renamed it "St. Joseph Hospital". Today, St. Joseph's Bryan campus is the flagship of the St. Joseph Health System, a not-for-profit, faith-based multispecialty healthcare system. While St. Joseph has grown, the Sisters' original mission remains the same: provide excellent healthcare to all, out of reverence for the dignity of every person.
On Thursday, September 12th, St. Joseph and KBTX will celebrate St. Joseph's 77th anniversary by broadcasting the Legacy of Healing Telethon. Join KBTX and community sponsors in supporting St. Joseph and its mission.
Donors may designate the St. Joseph hospital of their choice when making a gift.
