Dr. Deleon- Chiropractics

In today’s Brazos Valley Physician’s Organization Journal of Medicine Report, Dr. Deleon discusses Chiropractics.

Our spine works as one unit. Usually, if you have a restriction or a lot of tightness in one area of the body it’s going to affect other parts of your body. For example, if you have a lot of tightness in your back, your neck and your lower back have to compensate for this region. By providing optimum health through adjustments, we loosen up your muscles and increase range of motion.

You also have to remind yourself those organs such as your heart and kidneys are affected by the way our nerves function. If there’s an infringement that can affect the way these organs function and also our muscles. Achieving optimum health is realizing that if you are mentally and physically healthy, it allows our bodies to do what it needs to do on a daily basis.

Constant stress and anxiety can create a lot of muscle fatigue in our neck and back as well as poor posture and tired muscles that can create headaches and aches and pains when we wake up in the morning. We try to address these problems to we can function in our day to day activities.

The Brazos Valley Physician’s Organization is a group of independent physicians who are determined to preserve the choice and the sanctity of patient-physician relationships. Our vision is that the patient always comes first.
