With our busy lifestyles, fatigue can be a serious problem for anyone. In today’s Brazos Valley Physicians Organization Journal of Medicine Report, Dr. Russel Bacak explains more about why fatigue can be a problem and how to overcome it.
“It is definitely one of the most common things that I see as a chief complaint when patients come to see me. They feel tired all the time, and that they are fatigued. Its one of those diseases or illnesses that could be so many different illnesses, that sometimes it can be a diagnostic challenge. It could be anything from poor sleep, to anxiety and depression, to anemia or a low thyroid. At the same time it could be a very serious underlying disease, so its something we definitely need to look into.”
To avoid fatigue, Dr. Russel Bacak recommends routine sleep (at least 7 hours per night), avoiding caffeine as much as possible, and routine exercise.
