Dr. Malcom Rude discusses different options in facial rejuvenation to improve appearance.
Some of the options for facial rejuvenation are different levels of facial rejuvenation. There is noninvasive facial rejuvenation which skin care falls into as well as some of the nonablative lasers that are good for brown spots, maybe some red spots, and wrinkles.
The next level is minimally invasive facial rejuvenation such as Botox, or Neurotox or Disport, which is the new one that has come out, it is a similar product. Also your fillers, things we first learned about with collagen which is an old filler but now there are newer and better fillers that last longer and that are a little bit easier to use. At the minimally invasive you can also get into some of the lighter skin peels and things like that.
The most intensive thing that you can do is surgery, in terms of results. It is also the biggest result. In general, the less that you go through, the less of a result. The bigger a procedure or intervention you have, the bigger the result that you have.
