In today’s Brazos Valley Physicians Organization Journal of Medicine Report, Leon Bradway talks about hip pain.
"A lot of times hip pain can be resolved with good stretches, good exercises to get after those muscles that are causing some of the problems as well as a good aerobic program such as walking or maybe swimming that can help as well. Maybe talk to a physical therapist here locally that can look at your hip give you an idea why the pain is not going away. Maybe it’s some muscle imbalances, maybe there are some things going on in your lower extremities, your legs, that need to be addressed or maybe that you need to strengthen some muscles because there’s some weakness there that’s creating some imbalance that’s going on.
"But what I’d like you to know is that there’s a lot of things that you can do to improve upon your hip pain with just good specific exercises as well as someone understanding how the hip works and why those pain problems are happening."
