A Bryan grocery store is unable to serve its customers after getting its food permit suspended by the Brazos County Health Department.
The Food City at 2001 Highway 21 East has had its permit suspended for 72 hours after scoring a 48 during its inspection.
According to the Brazos County Health Department, most of the infractions were found in the store's taqueria. However, since the entire store is under one permit, the bakery, deli and tortilla production had to be halted.
This is the second time this year the store has had it's permit suspended and inspectors found a plethora of problems including flies in the taqueria, a cooler that didn't work, and rice left out in the open to cool off.
