Find out what's lurking behind the kitchen door of your favorite restaurant. Here's what inspectors found for the week of July 8th:
Keeping milk and seafood cold enough was a problem for Taqueria Arandas, along with moldy vegetables. Add mold in the ice machine, and that equals a 71.
A customer complaint led heath inspectors to Taco Casa, which turned up a cooler not cold enough, and meat and cheese potentially hazardous. It scored a 75.
Las Lomas scored an 84, docked for beans not hot enough, moldy tomatillos and a dirty microwave.
From Mexican food, to Bar and Grill, Buffalo Wild Wings cooks up a 96. But not before being fined $500 for a sink that wouldn't reach 100 degrees, which was a third violation.
Finally, a pair of perfect scores this week goes to Mr. G's in downtown Bryan and Subway on Harvey Mitchell.
