The kitchen at the Plaza Hotel was shut down Thursday after scoring a 48 for a laundry list of violations, the most severe being no hot water.
This is the hotel's second failing grade this year, resulting in a three day suspension and $500 fine.
Raw hamburger patties not cold enough and flies cost Stover Boys on FM 158 some sizzle. The burger joint scored a 78.
Jack in the Box on Texas Avenue in College Station received an 82, docked for dirty dishes and utensils and a damaged ice scoop.
McDonald's on Harvey Mitchell cooks up an 88, losing points for moldy soda nozzles and Windex stored on the same shelf with food.
It's a 96 for Kolache Rolf's on Texas Avenue in College Station for drinks stored improperly.
And a 97 for La Riviera in Bryan's North Park Plaza for a dirty microwave.
