Find out what's lurking behind the kitchen door of your favorite restaurant. How do they fair under the watchful eye of the Brazos County Health Department? KBTX continues to look at which Brazos Valley restaurants are making the grade and which ones aren't.

Here's what inspectors found during the week of October 28th:

A stop at La Familia on Highway 6 in College Station finds food at the wrong temperature and employees without hair restraints. The Mexican food restaurant gets a 75.

Inspectors rolled up to Freebirds on Earl Rudder and found flies and beans not hot enough. It scores an 82.

Papa Murphy's on Villa Maria in Bryan bakes up an 85, docked for storing produce on the floor of the cooler and pizza not kept cold enough.

While Cotton Patch Café on Longmire in College Station also gets an 85 for milk and ranch dressing not cold enough and dirty plates and knives.

It's an 87 for McDonald's on Greens Prairie for flies and grill cleaner stored improperly.

While TGIFridays gets a 92 for dirty drink nozzles and food not cold enough.

And we round out our report with a perfect 100 at Dominio's on William Joel Bryan in Bryan.
